Neon Pink, Gold, Green & Purple

Hello! I hope you're having a great weekend. I've been busy at work with lots of projects including making more pieces for my Shop. Neon has been such a trend this spring that I decided to add a little touch of it in my Shop with these Heart Hair Pins in Neon Pink and Gold. I'm working on another little project with these two colors because I like the wood-like look of the gold contrasting with the neon hue. I've also finally brought back some Little Bloom Earrings in Moss Green. And I added a Blossom Ring in Purple, which I've made several for custom orders, but hadn't put one in the Shop until now. I also updated my Heart of Gold Ring. And that's what's new for now. What's new with you?

I hope you had a beautiful weekend. I had a very nice Mother's Day with my 3Cs, my husband, my mom-in-law and my parents. Good company and good food makes for a good time. I received some lovely handmade cards from my boys. We are a family who says "I love you" many times a day but there's something extra special when it's written down. My middle C especially loves to make cards and his cards usually say something like, "I really really really love you." So sweet. And, I was doubly impressed with my husband who also made a card for me. It had a picture of our 3Cs on the front and then he connected the front and back with a piece of twine and when I opened it up, a half circle of cardstock swung out and there was his message. It was very creative and I was really touched that he took the time to make it with such special details. All in all, a wonderful day.

Pretty Pairing

Hello! I was about to ask how your weekend was when I realized that we're already half-way through the week! It's been busy here and I've missed popping in as often as I normally do. So, to pick back up where I left off, we were dealing with my youngest C having violent episodes of yuckiness. The good news? He's doing great; it only lasted 6 hours; we slept through the night and it didn't travel to anyone else. Consequently, we were also able to take a quick trip out of town. My husband had work meetings in Carlsbad and we went with him to visit Carlsbad Caverns. If you haven't heard of them, the caverns are just enormous and beautiful. It had been years and years since I was last there and it was really cool to see the boys react as we hiked down the dark path into the caverns. My husband was taking tons of pictures so maybe I'll be able to share some later in the week. Anyway, I'm back and hopefully able to begin posting again on a regular basis.

Despite the freak hail storm that we traveled through on the way home (!), things are starting to feel pretty summery here. Or perhaps it's just my wishful thinking. At any rate, this tank says summer to me. I think it would make a pretty pair with my little bloom earrings in red. 

Shades of Gray & Blue

Hello! I hope you're having a great weekend! We've been indoors more than we like because of windy, colder weather plus allergies but quiet weekends are sometimes the best. Overheard

Happy Friday! I hope yours has been just lovely. We had our homeschool co-op today. I'm an assistant in the kindergarten class with my littlest C, which means never a dull moment. Today, I overheard him say the following to one of the other teachers while munching on his snack, "What if I painted on my forehead, "Love House" and then this goldfish was the girl and this goldfish was the boy and they went into the house." He then grinned and proceeded to eat the goldfish, or send them into the "Love House" as we apparently like to refer to eating goldfish these days. Isn't imagination a wonderful thing?

I confess that I love how these came out. I'm tempted to keep them for myself. They seem just perfect for spring. They'd also be beautiful for a wedding or as a gift for a bridesmaid.

Little blooms are popping up all over my The Striped Straw. There is now a pair of Little Bloom earrings in bright and cheery Cerise, a pair in calm and cool Sky Blue, and a pair in red hot Red. And I've updated the Charcoal Gray Little Bloom Earrings. (My own pair of Charcoal Gray Little Blooms is my go-to pair most days.)
