I Could Use Some Help from House Doctor

Admittedly, I have not made much progress in our kitchen since the walls were painted. I still haven't found the "right" shelves, cabinets need painting, etc. We have a lot of work to do in there. In the meantime, it's fun to look and imagine putting together a space that is both functional and beautiful. I'm liking this Nordic vibe from House Doctor. Charcoal and white, wood and glass...lovely, don't you think?

  1. You are a cool colors kind of girl aren't you! :-) I really like the wood pieces you picked out and the rustic glass is lovely. What color are you painting the cabinets? I did that a few years ago and Im still really happy with it.

  2. You pegged me, Francis! :) I'm thinking about going white and/or charcoal on the bottom cabinets and white on the top. In our old house, we painted the cabinets a creamy white and I liked it. What color are your cabinets?

  3. Mine are black and did I mention they do need to be touched up! ;-)
I think using the two colors would be so fun! Good luck!

  4. Thanks! Maybe I'll get ambitious this winter and do some painting. I like the idea of black cabinets too. Very chic!
