Mediterranean Colors

Here's a look at my current packaging for my Shop. I'm loving this combination of blue, yellow and tan.  It feels like summer to me with a nod to Mediterranean influences.

And speaking of Mediterranean colors, here are some earrings I made as a custom order to match a necklace in my Shop.

Bright & Bold

After my last post of colorfulness, I'm continuing the trend with some splashes of bright color. I have a china cabinet that I really want to paint but I can't decide if I should do a neutral like gray or white or something that stands out like the turquoise below. Which way would you go?

Justina Blakeney's colorful wheel is actually a wooden carving board that she painted for a really fun and affordable accessory. For more pics and instructions, go here. What a fun little DIY project!

I was drawn to this lovely bedroom for its bold wardrobe. And the fact that it's a tad cluttered is something I can relate to. Anybody else?
Here's to a bright and cheery week!

Finding inspiration from the beautiful interior stylist, Jamo...

Aren't these shots amazing? I'll be spending some time taking in the colors, shapes, textures and other details. It gets my mind working overtime.

Have a Colorful Day

I'm enjoying these lovely images from Dutch stylist, Barbara Groen, as seen on Decor8.

Her compositions are beautiful and her use of color is exquisite. I love both the muted and vibrant shades she uses. And speaking of color, I was also captured by this colorful Swedish home.

Isn't that blue gorgeous? A staircase here, a bookcase there...and the bathroom tiles...touches of color to brighten every space.

Cityscapes

I love cityscape prints. Isn't this New York print adorable? I found some scrapbooking paper with a coordinating cityscape and street map design. I turned them into these coasters. They add a cheery pop of color to our coffee table.

Pretty Pairing

I love the color and feminine lines of this Ruffle Dress. Wouldn't it make a pretty pairing with the Golden Days Blossom Ring And maybe a cozy cardigan for cool autumn evenings.
More of this color duo here.

Turquoise Little Bloom Earrings

The color of these sweet little earrings makes me happy.
They remind me of the skies in New Mexico. Our "color" lies in our skies. It's true. We're brown a lot of the time. We have tumbleweeds. We don't have the rainfall to produce lush greenery. But look up. There's our color. And it's turquoise.
More Little Bloom Earrings here.
